Wellness Treasures was started for several reasons; Julia began her journey through personal adversity and by experiencing Energy and Reiki Therapy, both of these requiring Sea Salt Scrubs to clear your fields. Julia started by buying Sea Salt at the local grocery store and mixing the sea salt with her shower gel.
In September 2003, Julia went to a holistic show and purchased a salt scrub that, after testing at home, realized she had the ability to produce a product of far better quality and with far superior benefits.

Julia continued her quest for holistic knowledge; she did this by reading numerous books; by doing extensive research on carrier and essential oils and conferring with energy workers, massage therapists and other professional healers, all of which added their recommendations to her know how. Julia meditates on her ideas and has created a wonderful product line. Julia's first clients were many of her friends and family members.
